At times it can be hard as a mother to show your child exactly how important they are to you. All moms will try their best to provide the highest quality food, activities and clothes but sometimes you feel as if this just doesn’t show your love as much as you wanted. If you want another option to show your love for your children and make a memory that will last for a lifetime, consider my Port Coquitlam photography specializing in the mother-child bond.

These portraits can give you a tangible expression of the love between you and your child that will last a lifetime and help you get through all the rough times in life. It will be a constant reminder for both of you of the special bond you share and have always shared and you will be able to treasure it forever.

The most impressive part about Amy is her desire to get to know you and your family and her ability to use it and create such magical moments.  The way she captured our expressions just made my heart absolutely melt, you can see the love and joy immediately.  She is so warm and loving, you can feel the passion she has for every shot she takes.   – Eschelle Westwood

I am the only one of the Coquitlam photographers that specializes in this special mother-child bond so if you are truly looking for a unique expression of your love, this is the place to look. I have created the photos and packages with the needs of a mother in mind and because of that I am able to provide you with exactly what you are looking for. These sessions will focus on your bond with your child, whether they are a baby, toddler or even a teen. If you are unsure about how to show your love for your child, these photography sessions can truly help as they will not only provide a memento but the session itself can be a great memory you share with your child forever.

I will always look up to my mom, and my kids would be able to see how much I love her, and vice versa, through the pictures and the letter in the album.   – Arianna Coles (daughter)

My Port Coquitlam photography specializing in the mother-child bond comes in two options: a shorter session and a longer one. The longer session is called Be: Together Portraits and lasts two hours, during which we will chat and play games to get the best natural photos of you and your child. To help create stronger memories, these sessions are done at a location of your choice, preferably one where you and your child spend a great deal of time. Some suggestions include:

  • Your home
  • Lafarge Lake in Coquitlam
  • Rocky Point Park in Port Moody
  • Castle Park in Port Coquitlam

The shorter session will usually last between 15 and 20 minutes and is called Just: Be Portraits. Because of the short length of time, it is ideal if your child is at the age where they do not want to stay in one location for a long period of time.

No matter which option you choose, I will encourage you to write a letter to your child to provide both of you an additional memory for years to come. I will then include this letter in one of the portraits so you can make it a focal point in your home if you wish.

When I received our images from the session, I was blown away.  They perfectly capture the simple, raw moments of being Gracen’s mama that I never want to forget.  They’re soft, honest, and unposed, and truly allow our personalities to shine through.  Without a doubt, these images will forever be cherished.   – Jen Kossowan
